Moules Crues

Sorry, more of a record blip today rather than an artistic one.

This brown rat, Rattus norvegicus, was competing with the oystercatchers on the foreshore for a feast of raw mussels.

It ran to hide under rocks whenever a gull came near but not sure if that was to protect itself, or to protect its prized food from piracy.
