I guess people forget that Edinburgh is built on a number of volcanic outcrops.

And that weeds will grow anywhere.

If you're weeding the side of a volcano above streets where people are shopping you have a bit of a challenge on your hands.

You can't just pull the weed and drop it to pick it up later.

You're going to have to abseil with gardening implements, waste buckets and all. Then do your job.

And against the might of the volcano passers by won't even notice you.

But you know you did a good job.
