New gadget - the Orbitsound T12v3 soundbar.

This is something I've had my eye on for a while. Last weekend, while out for some city centre xmas shopping I spotted a chap from Orbitsound in John Lewis. A good chat and demo later, I decided to purchase the goods and picked them up this morning (+£4.70 parking for 10 mins - don't get me started!).

It is a truly wonderful bit of kit. Not a surround sound setup but a worthy replacement for the 5.1 home cinema that once existed in Ewan's bedroom before mini me arrived. It has a wonderful depth and clarity of sound anywhere in the room. I have it hooked into the LED tv via optical and it has an iPhone dock as well. A bonus is the fact that it is almost toddler proof - out of reach (for now), and the manual volume is on the back (out of sight) - I have the remote :-)

Me and Mrs R had a very tasty lunch at the Queens Arms today. It's such a great place. I had a few Thrappledouser with Beef Shin and Calcannon. Mrs R had a few Prosecco by the glass and a Goats Cheese and Artichoke Tagliatelli. It's one of our favoutite places to spend of few hours chilling out.
