Mincepie whirls

I am starting the festivities early this year, normally I refuse to make mince pies until December 1st. ...mainly cos they'll eat s many as I make, one historic day 3 dozen were made and not a single one made it until teatime!

Will see how these go down with the inmates rest of the family before promising to make anymore.....somehow it not mincepie enough with puff pastry rather than shortcrust, generally though they are not fussy!

These are a little on the well done side, but I was supervising ds2, he is making Toad in the Hole, and was making batter and cutting onions with the sharp knife
