NDR shot!

Yes, this is a real NDR shot! (Normal Dynamic Range).. I wanted to go HDR, but couldn't quite get it: I used the Photoshop CS3 merge to HDR feature, but it made a very nondescript, not so cool looking shot. Kinda bummed me out, cause i have this spot in -2 up to +2 in 1/3 step difference shots....

Any tips from you big HDR blippers out there?
