What Stress?
Saturday morning spent splitting wood at the community compost place is surely the best way to unwind after a hectic week at work....
OK, so it may not be everybodies cup of tea, but it works for me!
I used to pay to use the leisure centre which is across the car park, but splitting wood with a big, heavy maul is a great compound exercise. (A compound exercise is one in which you use multiple joints and multiple muscle groups.)
For the exercise gurus on here, I reckon it is a combination of a deadlift and a lateral pull down.
Now off for a walk along the canal at Slimbridge.
