arctic tern bombardment

On the Isle of May a there is a large colony of nesting arctic terns, which have to be negotiated to get off the jetty. Being dive bombed by hundreds of protective terns is scary and running, snapping my camera and fast fying birds aiming for my skull or lens is 'entertaining'. Getting pecked on the head at tern full pelt hurts, believe me....
