The storm that hit last weekend had a few minutes of hefty hail in it. It was only for a few minutes. And the majority of the plums on all our trees have scars like this. There will be more rots than usual but we'll still get plenty for jam and pickles and pudding and breakfast and preserving. If you were trying to grow them commercially, that'd be your income for the season.
