The Main Drag
We went for a lovely long walk this afternoon. Threw the kids on their scooters, and they just fly ahead while I plod along trying to work up a bit of puff and glisten (not sweat!). It was fabulous. We stopped at a playground at the half way point for the kids to do their thing. Then after we got home, we went up to the pool for a swim (really it was a loll in the water while playing with the kids).
This is the main road into where we live. We're out on a bit of a point, and the road in leads nowhere other than here, so although we have a hulking great wide road, it isn't ever very busy. Out in front, slightly to the left, over the water in the distance, is Auckland City. We can see the Sky Tower, but that's nowt to write home about. Our beaches are lovely and peaceful, as many east coast beaches are in NZ.
