UC Berkeley demonstration

UC Berkeley students and community expressed their outrage against state disinvestment in public education, and rallied the numerous Occupy movements around the world. This protest culminated with an impassioned speech by Robert Reich, in commemoration of Free Speech activist Mario Salvio. This demonstration followed another non-violent protest a couple days earlier during which students were beaten by the police.
