Lights, Camera

I noticed today the lights have gone up in Aberdeen's main shopping street, though I imagine it will be at least a week before they are turned on.

Not all the shops are so reticent about being ready for the festivities. I saw this window display in one of the shops in a street leading onto Union Street. Not exactly a nativity scene, but quite festive looking.

There again it might just be a wintery display in view if the season, and nothing to do with Christmas.
