The Other Side of the Lens

A lunchtime rendezvous with the divas in a brand new location (underneath the eyesore which is the new Holiday Inn Express) Turned out to be a rather nice place with a good ambience and lovely young waiters.

I knew things were going to take one of those turns when Peopletwitcher (featured with her whopper) insisted on ordering the mussels. You know that sinking feeling you get....she is on a mission. Whenever they are on the menu she must have them.....pity help the establishment which fails to come up to the mark. Her wrath knows no bounds ;)

Well, on the upside - they were declared fat and juicy BUT....there is always a BUT, there were only, oh say, half a dozen of them.....whoopsie

I was amazed when my fellow divas eschewed the miniscule puds in favour of coffee. Later, I was reassured that the world had not stopped spinning on its axis. PT has had a muffin and Jack Black has also had a wee sweet thing. Cats and Dogs has probably enjoyed a sweet thing of her own making too!

Me....I had haggis balls. If you have never had them, I would recommend that you do so soon :)
