Present to self

A work of art and a new jacket!

I saw this at an exhibition in Edinburgh last month of what were described as
'Felted and embroidered silk wearables'.
I love felting, though I haver never done it, and already have some machine embroidery art work.
I thought the colours and textures of the work were superb and this jacket, though too long in the sleeve, was reduced.
The lady said if I contacted her when I got home she could arrange for the sleeves to be shortened - so I did and it arrived yesterday.

If I get tired of it I can always hang it on the wall!
