Mrs jml is off for the newspapers, leaving us alone in the house.

Jess & Molly look on disconsolate, as if they think they will never see her again!

(A couple of days ago, we were going out for a meal, leaving Jess & Molly in the house. Jess took up position at this same window to see us drive away; while Molly found a point at the top of the stairs from which she could see us through a different window. It looked really touching, that they would miss us so much.)
