Sad

Back in Miami for our daughter's volleyball conference plays. Her team advanced to the semi-finals today. Yeah!

This pic is again at the Miami zoo. I remembered observing that scene before. It struck me as really sad: a magnificent gorilla, sitting right outside a glass window against which zoo visitors were pressed. I could hear them knocking on the glass, screaming at the beast, trying to get its attention. I wonder if somewhere in the recesses of its brain there are memories of better times?
