Joean (Joel and Sean)

After deciding to not go out clubbing for Timna's birthday at the last minute, I managed to get an awesome night's sleep and wake up 5 minutes before my alarm. This never happens, so I was even happier to open my curtains and see how sunny the day was.

Made coffee, had crumpets and a boiled egg with solidgers, and read my book (almost finished, the next books are lining up) in the sun that was streaming though my kitchen window. Was having such a nice time that my plan to take a walk on the hills before my lecture quickly evaporated into a quick dash to Kings Building to arrive just on time.

Took my camera with the intention to take photos about the golf course and such in my hours gap, but by the time lunch rolled around the clouds had closed in, and the rain began. So the camera stayed in my bag, and the labs passed quickly with the aid of a run down to the coffee shop with Marek at 4.

Came home to an amazing pie with a fancy french name being made by Sean (left), and fitted in a run round the meadows before we sat down to eat. Joel (right) and Meg came along, bringing wine and Ben & Jerry's ice cream and cookies. Nomnomnom.

Very windy now! Depression moving in from the atlantic.
