When it doesn't go to plan&something surprises

The night before I had today planned in my head, we were going to up and out early to go and collect 2 parcels from 2 different places.

Well that morning, my alarm woke me instead of the baby or toddler which is a very rare occasion. I let them lie on, whilst I got the older 2 up to get ready for school. While I was sitting having my morning coffee in peace I was itching for the little one's to wake up!

Baby woke first, I got him sorted with breakfast and dressed. Then the toddler woke hurrah!! He had breakfast and got him organised. We were finally out the door at 10am, which was later than I had planned.

Off we went and collected first parcel. We were on the way to get the other when the engine management came on in the car and the car died. I eventually got it started and let it run for a few minutes before considering on what to do. Whether to try and get the car, little one's and myself home.

I really needed the parcel as it was a dress for myself to wear tonight as I was nominated for Miss Slinky at my local Slimming World group (nicknamed 'Fat Club' in my family) So I carried on, with the light still on and made it there and home :)

Getting ready for the night, I realised the tights I bought the day previously, were not actually tights but stockings, which I don't like. I really need to read the packaging on stuff like this before I buy it I got a pair of tights in the local shop for an extortionate price in my opinion! The dress I went and collected previously didn't fit properly and it was hideous :( Thankfully I had a back-up dress that I bought on a whim a few weeks back thinking it was a long top lol

Everything went well after that thank goodness. I went to fat club and had a great loss this week. We all had to vote again for Miss Slinky, I was 1 of 6 that was nominated. I do feel that the other ladies deserved it more than me, as they have lost a lot more than me and they all look great.

To my surprise my name had been called out as the winner!! I was honestly shocked and overwhelmed and had a few tears embarrassed I got this sash and a certificate, which is now placed on my fridge.

I have so far lost 2stone 10lb and need to loose more, I am pleased with my progress and don't think I could of done it without the support of my friends, family, fat club members and of course the fat club leader xx

So today didn't go as planned, I was stressed to the hilt with everything seemingly to go wrong and at the end of the day I got a lovely surprise and it was unexpected :)
