yup you guessed it..

...another sculpture by the sea!

when I was looking at the title of this exhibit today having missed yesterday's I realise I missed an opportunity here... these beautiful transparent pillars studded with shells, pebbles and glistening gems are named '11/11'. however I didn't realise this on the 11th November!

so, another coastal walk with megs today. by the time i headed out late afternoon for a surf the day was incredibly dreich. I'm not entirely sure how an Aussie would pronounce that, but I can assure you it turned gai dreich! however, this was perfect for my surf session.. At one point it was just me and another guy (from Cornwall) on the wave. A great learning session for me, even if the weather was miserable and the waves fairly mushy. I'm just delighted to have so many chances to be out in the ocean, and even better when it's not its usual crowded self here in bondi.

I also had two sets of tourists take my photo today - one Japanese group who came running after me (!) as i headed into the water and one Canadian couple who asked for my photo when I was, quite frankly, a drowned rat post surf. the tan must be making me look more local ;) very amusing.
