Hooked

Some goals and achievements are short term, occasionally based on whim or simply low cost. It's always nice to achieve these...

Some people set themselves up with goals just to achieve them. I get that, but that just seems like too much effort.

But I have become quite addicted to the long game, the strategic play, and the numerous battles required to win the campaign.

Keep the fleeting successes for light entertainment, it will help pass the time. But get yourself a project. Or a few. It once again has me hooked, especially on days like today when everything fits into place, like unsuspecting pawns in a grand game.

Do that. But also, eat cake! I can confirm it is not a lie!
