Remembrance Day.

I had intended to blip my poppy, but unfortunately when I came to take the photo I realised i'd lost yet another one. I had bought one to wear at the concert last sunday, but again that was was lost/taken by another performer. And although I wore one all day today I seem to have lost it. Saying that, my poppy from last year (2010) Is still on my mirror!

Luckily though I bought one of these bands from the start, and that was much harder to lose. So it's not quite as 'traditional' but it's much more practical. And it still shows the thought and reflection intended on this important day.

It's hard to imagine going through a year, without having remembrance day, with the poppies and the two minutes silence at 11. I feel it's really important that my generation continue to uphold these traditions for future generations to help keep the stories alive.
