Well Oiled

Billy Brompton is now officially well oiled. Over the last week or so it been feeling like I'm dragging a weight behind me. I fully acknowledge that I may not be in the first flush of youth and my knees will never be used in anger again ,but it was feeling a bit tough.

I attended Dr Blogs's bike clinic this morning and he diagnosed a good dose of oil. Now I had a major service a few months ago but the daily grind through the filth of the cycle paths has taken it's toll - grit and mud caked to the drive gear - so it had to go.

So a dash home and a good scrub, a spray of WD40 to take all the grime off then a gentle drip of oil.

Lets see what morning dash brings.
