Calendula November

The sun peeked out for just a few brief moments today - this is progress :) Looking through the window into the back garden its quite amazing to see that there are a still a few plants hanging on to their blooms this late on in the year. November has been extremely mild this year although there was a wee nip in the air last night

Sweet Pea
Perennial Sweet Pea (still not moved to new position)
Dahlia (hanging on by a thread!)

californian poppy
Cosmos

There may be other less hardy plants still blooming but I have wrapped them up for the winter or taken them indoors. So you have me to thank for the absence of frost. Had I left those delicate little ones untended we would have been knee deep in snow by now!
