Woody's back!

He's been a regular visitor recently. I suspect he's one of this year's brood now in his adult plumage. He seems slightly less 'skittish' than earlier adults, perhaps he is used to us now after so many visits. Today he sat for ages in this position and I was beginning to wonder if he was OK. Then he ran up the trunk and sat for several more minutes before going to the feeder and hammering seven bells out of the peanuts.
It was a hectic morning in 'the shop' after the excitement of last night's fashion show. We all had a good time and a handsome sum was raised for the charity, great stuff.
I forgot to mention, on Monday as we were about to leave Thirsk in the car, we saw Matt Baker cycling through on his way to York. What a gruelling challenge and he was still smiling - at that point anyway. Good luck Matt and a donation to Children in Need is on it's way via your challenge.
