Autumn colours by the canal
This scene is by the Trent and Mersey Canal near to Armitage in Staffordshire.
It was a murky and grey day and I pulled over to see if there was a potential blip in this spot which I have never been to before.
The autumn scene by the canal, with the woodburners on the narrowboats gently smoking, was a possible blip
But who is the character shaking what looks like an incense burner over the first boat ?
close up of the odd man
The photo was taken near to Hawkesyard Priory, part of the former Armitage Park, now a conference and events centre and might have something jokey to do with the Dominican friars and the history ?
