East Stirlingshire v Buckie Thistle

Went to see my hometown team play in the Scottish cup on a cold January night. The match was brought to life as two Buckie players had an argument just after half-time and one pushed another to be sent off by the referee - this changed the course of the game. The Highland League outfit had been by far the better team and looked far more like scoring. East Stirling went on to score and hold back the 10men of Buckie as the took several shots.

However as East Stirling celebrated at the final whistle they were not to know that it had all been futile as they had played an unregistered player and were subsequently thrown out of the cup and Buckie reinstated.
