Look at these fabulous floorboards - aren't they just great?

We got a massive quote for a new carpet in the living room the other day which included an equally massive quote for removing & disposing of the old carpet.

Unfortunately my owner, Ann, is not a millionaire, so we started riping up the old carpet ourselves.

Look what we've found? Fabulous floorboards.

It's 12.30am but we have to keep riping up carpet. This is exciting!

Let's forget the hundreds of pounds we've been quoted for a new carpet and buy a rug instead??!!
