Thinking wicked thoughts.
Yoda was one of five kittens we raised by hand from about one week to ten days old; their eyes were not yet open. We think a coyote most probably caught their mother. He was the only short-hair of the litter the others being the more typical medium-long haired of the Himalayan breed. They all have blue eyes; Yoda has a slight strabismus.
The kittens were all white with faintly darkened points and not knowing what breed they were waited patiently for the eye colour to change. At about one year of age more definite tabby colouring began to appear on the head and rump.
Getting pictures of each of our present ten cats is going to be a challenge . . .
