Inverclyde Royal Hospital
Is this the most depressing building in the known universe?
This is Inverclyde Royal Hospital, opened in 1979 and it makes you wonder if the architect(s) harbour a sense of pride for its splendour and beauty.
My dad is currently residing in the High Dependency Unit having had suregery for a burst appendix followed up by a heart attack. I did the emergency drive north on Sunday (hence the absence from blipfoto) and thankfully he is doing okay but not yet out of the HDU.
I will head home tomorrow having satisfied myself that his condition has stabilised and he is no longer in a critical condition.
