New starts

This shot makes me so happy. This time last year I didn't have a radiator in my kitchen. I also had a heating system which didn't work (not above about 14 degrees in the cold weather anyway). It is all a distant memory and what doesn't kill you etc...

Now, I not only have a rad in my kitchen, I have walls which have nearly been prepared for tiles and paint (not necessarily in that order).

I've been in my house for 13 months now. I love my house like I've never loved a house before. For all her 'issues', she's marked the start of something new.
