Today received a sturdy 12kg package by courier and was thinking wtf is there as did not remember ordering anything so big. Well, checking the sender understood that these are the crossovers to my Altec speakers ordered few weeks ago.

Built by one experienced german audio engineer each crossover weights approx. 5kgs and compared to the AA battery at the pic you can see the sizing aspect. Was expecting something smaller but I guess these will do as the cmpnents used seem to be very good quality and the autoformer included most certainly is not any cheap toy ;)

Hopefully will have soon some time to open my speakers to install these and replace my original N-800F crossovers from the 60's using at the moment. Perhaps tomorrow or weekend or next week or..
