Leather straps on a pedal

These are the leather straps on a pedal of one of the thousand bikes we saw today at the National Museum of Scotland depot. What an amazing place!

The visit was organized by Witchcreations and there were a few other blippers there as well. I really enjoyed it. We had a very interesting talk about the historical background of the bikes by one of the members of staff and then we got to see other sections of the depot, where they kept assorted old machinery, computers, cars and costumes.

I took too many pictures, of which I managed to rescue eighty two. Trying to choose one to blip today was a really difficult task!

Not doing much more this evening. Tomorrow I'm planning to maybe go to the fishmarket in Newhaven early in the morning or visit a distillery (thinking pobably Glengoyne, near Glasgow), see if I can get some shots for the competition. We'll see...

So far having a relaxing holiday!

Thanks very much for all your nice comments on my empty chairs blip! I hope you all had a great day! :)
