Makes for a rough ride

Not a shop on Leith Walk but rather a somewhat disabled bicycle. I'm unable to say how long this has been resting tethered outside the Tesco on the junction of the Walk and Brunswick St as it's been a week since I cycled up here. The question of sequence comes to mind. Was the wheel bent so alarmingly before it was locked up, in which case the question arises as to 'why?'. It can hardly be ridden away. If since it was locked up, then how did it get bent like that?

These little thoughts occupy my mind as I take my morning ride up Leith Walk.
