Delicate Wine

I hope nobody will slaughter me here. Or someone please correct me.
I think its a Begonia, I tried hard to recollect. All I know this a flower from South Africa. It survived 2 month in a container just by chance somehow.
At the end of the summer it created the utmost delicate wine colored flowers on thin long stem. The stem are very long and very thin I actually had to bend this one back to core of the plant to show some of the leaves that are very velvet like. Every winter I take it in to keep it alive. It survived 5 years now in Canada.

I was taking day time shots at 23pm at night :-).
