lectures with practitioners

there's still something unbelievable about the sheer number of resources available at this institution. just this evening, i was able to attend a lecture featuring sir john holmes, former un under-secretary gen for humanitarian affairs. not everyone will get why that's incredible, but for me it illustrated the global staying power of this place. here's another poorly framed photo that i tried to take without drawing too much attention. ah well.
