Long Live Egypt!
This is an applique wall-hanging, made this year by a man in Egypt during the revolution, and it has just been bought by the Oriental Museum in Durham.
The setting is Tahrir Square, and it records some of the events and the atmosphere of the uprising.
Note the water cannon, riot police, protesting women and the tanks. I'm not sure what the big grey balloons represent; tear gas, perhaps?
The message to Mubarak was clear.... game over.
