GNER Shock National Disaster

This is a shock image of a major news story.

Blipfoto will hit the headlines with the first images of this unprecedented disaster to the national infrastructure of the very country that invented trains.

Today, in an extrodinary event ,the main line from London to Edinburgh was totally closed due to a problem with an "overhead cable" Every train was delayed for hours, before slowly crawling to Peterbourough all passangers were informed that there was no way any trains could dare get past this incident and we were asked to disimbark!

As familys and elderly people wonderd around a station deserted by railway employees it was announced that we would have to continue by bus. Outside we found a single employee with a line of about 800 passangers (that was increacing by the minute as more trains emptied) behind him and 2 run down charter busses in front of him operated by chain smoking, tatooed, neanderthals.

We joined the people that had already been quing with no information for an hour and a half down a dark side street adjascent to the station.

With no information, assistance or guidance the brave passanger had to help each other with baggage prams and very tired hungry kids. Eventually getting on busses with no toilets for an 100km drive to the next staion where they were expected to all fit onto small commuter trains and find there own way to London.

Oh, hang on. Sorry this is England. So nothing unusuall with the trains on this last day of half term.
