The Art of Bricklaying

I'm being forced to be rather anti-social at the moment, both in the real world and this wonderful virtual world. I had all sorts of fun things planned for the weekend, but virtually all got scuppered in order to work on the new system which goes live nationally tomorrow. After the user training and acceptance sessions all should have been done and dusted by last week, but such is the way of things that we've had to make some very last minute changes. The end result is an application that works very much better for the tweaking we have done. I was fairly happy with it before, but now I'm very happy with it indeed. It's going to be a powerful tool for our users.

So, many thanks for all of you who are sticking by me through the current metaphorical and literal fog. Yesterday was as miserable a day as I can remember in a long while, Ilkley being stuck under a thick blanket of mist and light drizzle. It was made worse by seeing so many blips from around the country featuring blue skies! Yes, I have been taking the odd little break to look, even if I haven't been commenting! The trouble with even a quick little comment is that once I start I find it impossible to stop!!

Only a few minutes break at lunchtime so this is of a chimney in a mill adjacent to ours. You've seen it before, but never close-up. To my mind, it is very much a work of art. But the question is ...

Am I inside looking up ... or outside looking down?
