Thinking

Today was full of Philosophy.

Philosophy is my third subject.
Before I began I thought it would be fairly abstract (ie. fairly easy) with some reading of nice books and perhaps some time allocated just for "thinking".
Turns out I was slightly misguided. I don't know where I got my romanticized view from at all - perhaps a forgotten film based in Cambridge in the 17th century.
Some of it is all the above but even more of it involves some sort of new language to learn - it's made of symbols, like algebra - plus another "language" of critical thinking. I'm not in any way mathematically or logically inclined so it's much much harder than I imagined it would be.
So much for the easy ride!

As a Gaelic speaker, I like the fact all the department signs are in Gaelic as well as English.
