When forced to Blip once it has become dark you need to decide what you are going to try and capture. Options are limited. A silhouette is my favourite as long as theres a bit of light remaining behind the subject.
These new houses are set on the very edge of a steep bank on the River Eden in the city of Carlisle. They stood empty for many years, apparently unable find buyers. I often used to walk up the private decking stairway to have a nosey around.
Today I noticed the geometry of the various walls, and doorways made a nice contrast to the trees that dominated the view.
