Sunbeams

This must be the last of the rock roses in the garden although there are a number of buds still on the plant.

(I seem to be a day behind as this is a backblip again!)

T worked really hard today bedding down the cattle and then working on a neighbouring farm all afternoon and returning tired out. N and I watched the Remembrance service at the Cenotaph, at least I was late so watched the march-past afterwards. I was surprised at the number of people marching, the line was endless, some in wheelchairs, several children wearing their grandfathers' medals and each regiment or organisation carrying a wreath to be laid at the Cenotaph. The weather was perfect for them and they marched with pride.

Gardened in the afternoon. Every winter I hope to get our jungle under control but it never quite happens! The moss never quite disappears either growing on the path up to the front door on the north side of the house.
