Flipflops in the snow

From the beach to the mountain tops. Lebanon has amzing mountain separating it from the deserts of Syria. Driving north from Beirut its possible to have lunch and a swim in the sea then within the hour be in the snow, which is what we did. We were hoping to cross the mountain pass and back to the border but discovered it blocked with 12foot of snow. Not what I was expecting when I was diving off the harbour side and hour earlier.
