What a grey day
as Larry Grayson might have said.
If he'd taken a look at my camera's sensor, he would most certainly have said "look at the muck in 'ere". This time it wasn't just dust, so it needed a light wipe with some isopropyl which seems to have sorted it nicely.
Grey day it was / is. Not a lot of colour anywhere, so even a diversionary walk in order to find an interesting blip looked like it would draw a zero, but then I found some nice acorns.
These are not acorns from the usual common or turkey oaks, these are from the Holm Oak tree. It originally came from the Mediterranean, and is tolerant of sea spray, so they do well on the coast. They are also evergreen and have slightly spiny leaves like holly.
