Parking Lot

We have enjoyed being away this season despite being regularly stuck in various harbours while we wait for better weather.

This time Ms MH chose to plot a course for Lavrion, a large harbour just South West of the entrance to the Evia Channel. Our original plan to go to Crete has been put to rest by the strong winds that have ripped through the Cyclades.

Lavrion is a bit of a souless place as it is inhabitted by a number of large charter fleets and some very large commerical vessels and the town doesn't really have anything different to offer. This said it does offer really good shelter in a blow.
