'Wild Ponies'

Dartmoor (or Exmoor???) ponies are brought onto Daisy Hill Fell at certain times to aid the growth of the plant mix. These were rather friendly with me but frisky with each other!

A great walk on the fell this morning - saw grey partridge, flock of yellowhammers, willow tits, long-tailed tits, a mixed flock of redwings and fieldfare and best today - 2 snipe!
