Promenade, with Yellow
Had a most lovely afternoon today. H and I went to the PNB ballet matinee, "Love Stories". (5 love stories, including the Black Swan, Afternoon of a Faun, and my favorite, from their new production, Romeo and Juliet!) Got there early, with camera. This is the promenade next to the Opera House, with no one there at the moment. Using this to showcase the yellow trees which still unbelievably have leaves on them this exceptional fall here in the PNW. It's not raining (!) - the water is a 'fountain" flowing from right to left (and a favorite for kids to walk through!) One can sit on the bench and peer into the Opera House Lobby. The screens at the top are the very lower part of a series that have changing colored lights on them at night. It's a wonderful space!
