Feeding time

A mass of birds - egrets, cormorants, coots and pelicans - was working its way around Lake Merritt, diving or lunching for fish for several minutes before moving on to a new spot. This group of birds seemed to be watching their colleagues to see where they were finding fish. A few minutes later, all these birds had left for another spot.
