The homecoming

I woke up to my cat purring on my pillow... my cat that went missing ten years ago, that is! Mum said that she heard a meowing at the front door & he just pushed his way in! Unfortunately, he is blind in one eye now & has a few bald patches from his conquests.

When he went missing all those years ago, we called every animal shelter, veterinary practice & even the police, in the hope that someone had taken him in. When he turned up this weekend, he had a collar with a tag, so we called the number just in case his owners were worried about him. He has a lovely family now, who got him from a rescue centre about three months ago. It's been good to see him & to know he's Ok! =)
