A Man Thing
Here's how my husband spent the afternoon. I will never get it. I love him dearly & appreciate all he does, but I just can't justify the logic. Hours upon hours of blowing leaves off the yard. For what? It's nature; leaves turn & fall this time each year. Why blow them around? Winds will blow them around again, more will fall, & what's the problem with seeing leaves on the lawn anyway ? I've concluded it must be about the power tools. Using a broom is archaic & the leaves on the deck & front porch remain...they can be brought inside to dirty the house, which they always do. That isn't a problem, somehow. No one feels the need to get out the power tool in the closet to sweep them off the floor when they track them inside our home, the place that should be cleaner than outdoors. Go figure!
