Bye bye Paris

Another fab day around Paris.

We walked to the Bastille and then onto Place Des Voyages which is a beautiful square of houses and where Victor Hugo lived for some time. There was also a great playground for the kids - a reward for another long walk!

We then went on a boat, much to O's excitement and travelled up to the Eiffel Tower where we got out and I took loads of photos. Today was the closest I've ever been to the Eiffel Tower so I was allowed to take lots of snaps!

We were so fortunate with glorious weather this weekend that we didn't actually go inside any of the wonderful sights (which may have been pushing it with 2 very young children as the queues were rather large).

We ran out of time to go and visit the Pompidou Centre so on our way back home we drove past it and then my hubby who is very brave decided that we should drive up the Champs Elysees and around the Arc De Triomphe! Now we have driven in quite a few countries but this was certainly the most challenging!
