Fire Stick Bomb...

I love a challenge and Wingpig has this nack of coming up with challenges that are somewhat tricky but perfectly attainable.

His suggestion upon seeing the stick bomb was to try a long exposure version with sticks on fire. This is the reulst of a first failed attempt. Wind factor wasn't taken into consideration and having two toddlers careering around the garden didn't help the mix.

Anyway, this is the result which wasn't all that impressive and to tell the truth, was even less impressive live but I've got a slo-mo video of it churning away in the Vimeo media tube.

Notes for future attempts. Smaller lit tapers. The larger tapers, although easier to light, carried a bit extra weight and so don't jump as easy. Maybe even just raise the whole bridge and let the flames set it off.
